The Candy Cane Contraption started out as a four
minute Christmas film idea, an improv experiment
of sorts about a boy who meets a mysterious Elf
who manages to bring a bit of hope and magic
back into his life. A year later we finally finished a
story(WGA) that is a little over 40 minutes in it's
entirety. It was shot only with a JVC mini DV
Cam and a cheap tri pod... duct taped together.
